Fly Wide Open in our 2-SEATER ‘Silver Streak’ – a 1942 PT-19 Warbird.

Experience the thrill of flying around the city of Tulsa with the wind in your hair and goggles over your eyes! Our open-cockpit, fully-restored PT-19 is a piece of flying history! Ride in the same aircraft that trained some of our country’s greatest aviators during World War II!

DSC_0320Rides are conducted on Saturdays from Jones airport (Riverside to the pilots) up Lewis Ave where you can see Brookside to the Fairgrounds, Philbrook, St. Johns and Hillcrest Hospitals. The flight continues near the University of Tulsa campus, north to view the 1920’s navigation arrow located on the south side of Reservoir Hill, which points toward Tulsa International Airport. Then, over the Bank of Oklahoma Center, around downtown Tulsa buildings, down Brookside and Riverside Drive and on to the airport. Because this aircraft is open-cockpit, we offer rides spring, summer, and fall.

Rides are approximately 20 minutes. They are a wonderful gift for a loved one – or a great escape for yourself! Individuals aged 12 and over only may fly in our PT-19. Maximum passenger weight is 250 lbs.
