Sorry if you missed this years dance!
April 2008 Newsletter The Commemorative Air Force is a 501c3, non profit organization, dedicated to the restoration and flying of World War II aircraft. The work crews are made up of volunteers ages 13 to 18 (CAF Cadets) and any other interested adults. Many of our volunteers are aircraft workers by day and vintage aircraft restorers by night. Cadets and the non-professional workers are trained and supervised by these highly qualified aviation professionals. ![]() The Spirit of Tulsa was awarded the Distinguished Unit Award for 2003 by the Commemorative Air Force, headquartered in Midland, Texas. The award is given annually to one of the 90 CAF Units throughout the world. The award was given for our maintenance and restoration work on Diamond 'Lil', our CELEBRATE FREEDOM events, and our involvement of CAF Cadets in all of our activites. ![]() |
